Ohio responds with blowout of Stetson
Wilson leads the way with 20 points

ATHENS – Ohio bounced back in a big way from its blowout loss to Florida by routing Stetson 85-66 on Saturday at The Convo.
The Bobcats put up 52 first-half points for a 22-point lead and went up by as many as 30 points in the second half.
Dwight Wilson scored 20 points on 8-of-9 shooting in just 23 minutes to lead five players in double figures. Freshman AJ Brown added 13 points, DeVon Baker had 12 points, Miles Brown scored 11 points, and Gabe Wiznitzer nearly posted a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds in only 17 minutes.
An early 10-0 run gave Ohio (6-5) a 14-5 lead. It was part of a bigger 18-3 spurt that put the Bobcats ahead 22-8.
After the Hatters (5-5) cut their deficit to 31-25, the Bobcats had their biggest run. They scored 15 straight points to go up by 21 and eventually took a 52-30 lead into the locker room.
Stetson got as close as 15 before Ohio put the game away in the middle of the second half and took its biggest lead of 83-53 with 6:11 remaining.
The Bobcats shot 50.7%, while the Hatters finished at just 36.7% with 17 turnovers.
Jalen Blackmon scored 21 points, while Josh Smith had 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead Stetson.
