Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this was shortly following Diggs' chucking of the ball at Stevie's face after a breakaway layup.  Great response to then drain a 3 right in front of him and flash the 3 sign.

As usual, I thought Akron was the instigator and the trash talking after a smart clean foul by DJ from Abreu was just sad.

I don't think we can blame the trash talk on either side... Cooper was in their ears the entire game, and I absolutely loved it.

I've seen crazier things happen.

That's Harney on the bench, not Diggs.

Their guys have mentioned DJ's trash talk on numerous occasions. He's completely in their collective heads but Abreu in particular.

Abreu should forget about getting DJ out of his head and worry more about getting the cement blocks off his feet. DJ and Stevie blew by him whenever they wanted last night, and it had Akron in scramble mode on defense every time.

These facial expressions are excellent.  All of them.  This series has really taken on a life of its own.

My apologies...Maybe I just wanted it to be Diggs.

I've heard several references to the DJ trash talking.  He hides it well on the court because I never really pick up on it.

Well, there's on-court trash talk, which goes on all the time in every game in every sport.

And then there's giving interviews where your coach and players openly call out and individual and a team.

I don't recall Ohio ever doing the second part.  So, I put Akron on more on the instigator side of this.

But, no doubt Cooper talks trash and gets other players ticked off.  And, Taylor looks like he's the second coming of that.

Incredible picture.

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

McClanahan's face is just... the best.

wow, that pic is so money.  if you watch the replay it happens at about 5:30 left in the 1st half, DJ steels the ball runs a 3 on 1 break with Reg in the middle and Stevie on the edge, Stevie gets the pass, pulls up and drains a 3 then makes a quick turn and the pic is snapped as he runs back on D. the faces say it all.

Straight from that 'Kron thread:

"There were a lot of dunks by Ohio, especially on the offensive end."

Dunks on the offensive end? You don't say...

Love that picture ... and I guess we don't need to worry about the rivalry dying down anytime soon.

The 11 year old said it best ... "Stevie is a BEAST."

Did anyone else see the comment about Ohio having alot of dunks last night, especially on the offensive end?  Quality stuff.

A trashy taunt, that's all. And the official didn't have the balls to do anything other than just move along Stevie.
