Make BOLD predictions for the 24-25 season

If I could format BOLD to be in BOLD font, I would. Make BOLD predictions in the following categories -

BOLD player prediction
BOLD team prediction
BOLD conference prediction
BOLD national prediction

BOLD player prediction - Aidan Hadaway begins the season on a tear, winning MAC player of the week twice before conference games begin
BOLD team prediction - Each of the projected starting five (Pav, Mitchell, AJB, Hadaway, and Clayton) earn an all-conference honor at the season's end. A bench player also takes home Sixth man of the year
BOLD conference prediction - Barbee wins coach of the year again. Heath is fired midseason
BOLD national prediction - Depaul AND Chicago State make the NCAA Tournament

BOLD player prediction - Nicol becomes a valuable bench piece with shooting and size. Won't put up crazy numbers but will be highly productive per minute.
BOLD team prediction - Team will flirt with the top 25 at points and be a trendy mid-major team throughout most of the season.
BOLD conference prediction - The MAC will finish above the MVC in conference NET rankings.
BOLD national prediction - Iowa State wins the national championship.

BOLD player prediction - Either by way of health or production, AJB is a letdown.
BOLD team prediction - Points in the paint improves as AJC commits more to it, Hadaway builds on last year and some newcomers mix it up.
BOLD conference prediction - Bottom half of the league absolutely terrible.
BOLD national prediction - 2 teams not in the preseason top 25 make the final 4.

Hell yeah! I hope this happens. I said a few months ago that Paveletzke not being able to transfer and figure out running the offense with a new coach and team was probably the easiest path to this team being near its "floor". He has to be the facilitator. But I also said I thought it was likely he'd be better than Hunter. If your prediction happens then there is a really good chance Ohio has had a great season.

Now, I really want to have an ultimate dream and combine these. Paveletzke wins player of the year. All five starters are all-MAC. Let's say one of the freshmen wins sixth man and freshman of the year. And while we're at it. Let's Think big. We need all the hardware. %$@*& Barbee. I want Boals.

BOLD player prediction: Elmore James is BACK and HEALTHY. He will average 9 PPG, 5 rebounds per game and shoot at a least 35% from three point line.

BOLD team prediction: Ohio will be top-25 in the country in 3-point %

BOLD conference prediction: Picked to finish 4th, Toledo will win the regular season championship.....AGAIN.

BOLD national prediction: Kansas will lose in the first-round of the NCAA Tournament

BOLD player prediction: We have two players whose three point shooting percentage would lead the nation, but neither has enough attempts to actually qualify.

BOLD team prediction: Our best lineup (Pav, Reef, Elmore, AJB, and Clayton) will only have a single player taller than 6'4.

BOLD conference prediction: Kent State's the 1 seed in the MAC tournament

BOLD national prediction: Rutgers makes the final four

BOLD team prediction - Undefeated at home.
BOLD conference prediction - Bowling Green will finish ahead of Toledo in the standings. Buffalo will somehow be even worse than last year.
BOLD national prediction - Arkansas will miss the Dance in Calipari's first season.

BOLD team prediction - MAC Champions or bust.

BOLD player prediction - Vic Searls is Clayton's primary backup most of the year but by the time Boals cuts down the rotation to 8 primary players it has become Ayden Evans.
BOLD team prediction - Ohio wins the MAC outright but falls in the MAC tournament. This possibly keeps Boals around, and all of the young talent, around for 2025-26.
BOLD conference prediction - In a reversal of recent norms third seeded Toledo beats Ohio in the MAC tournament championship.
BOLD national prediction - Gonzaga finally wins the NCAA tournament

If there are no injuries in the frontcourt players and Vic averages 20 minutes per game (Wiznitzer didn't average close to that) which player will be giving up the minutes? Clayton won't be losing minutes that is a prediction though not very BOLD.

I think everybody in the game-by-gane predictions thread has us in the NCAA tournament. Probably a wise zag. Hard to get there.

Assuming the freshmen aren't in the regular rotation, we could see something like Clayton 30 / Hadaway 30 / Searls 20 for the 4/5 position splits. Probably a stretch to see Vic play that much, but who knows?
