The 14-year-old in the famous 1970 Kent photo has had a tumultuous life, but now seems to be okay with the world. It's amazing how despicable people were to her after she unwillingly became one of the most recognized faces in America. And this was even before the age of social media. Read that yesterday, great article. I had no idea she was only 14 and a runaway who happened to be in Kent that fateful day.
