Does anyone else remember Jack's on Second Street? It was a small place with about four stools and a counter. Jack served hamburgers, soups, soft drinks and all kinds of candy and ice cream. The proprietor's name was Jack Hartley, and he was a World War II veteran. I believe Jack closed his shop and retired about 1969, so you would have to have been in school before that time to remember this place.

1969? There are people on here who don't remember the A&P.

I know that it strains credibility, but there are actually people on this board who are older than you and I, greencat.
