The Kent State shooting thread.
Majoring in "E-Sports" at other schools thread.
SMU's NIL thing thread.
Coaches in Pennsylvania unionizing thread.
The Jack's Confectionery on Second Street thread.
Proposed name change for the Wayne National Forest thread.
Shall I keep going?

Honestly, you all are pretty insufferable on this topic. I don't think you realize it, but you are.
BA.com is -- as I understand it -- a labor of love. It has no full-time employees, just Ohio Bobcats fans who shoulder the cost and work to keep it up and running to give folks a place to talk Ohio Athletics.
Yet somehow, the expectation here is that two people -- in their spare time -- should moderate every single thread perfectly, and if anybody finds anything that they consider to be inconsistency in the way the site's moderated, it's a sign of bias and unfairness and they make a big stink about taking their ball and going home. And they always do it in a public, confrontational way.
We all know the policies here. We often choose not to follow them. Sometimes we get away with it, sometimes we don't.
The instinct to act like it's some important crusade for free speech is just silly though. To quote M.D.W.S.T. -- touch grass.

Always important to whine about your rant getting blown out of the water that was based on blatant hypocrisy.
Unless you subscribe to a "Rivals.com" type college web forum that offers "super-secret" recruiting info for (name of mega-school here) then almost all the rest are free. Plus, people could simply look on twitter to see what said recruits are up to with visits, etc instead of paying Yahoo for a Rivals "premium subscription." AND...many of those even also have a free forum not behind a paywall.
So excuse me if I don't have a guilt remorse attack over a sports forum being free.

I actually can't make sense of what you're saying in this post.
I appreciate that this site exists. I don't care if the mods decide certain posts shouldn't be here. They do work so we can use this site that we all like enough to keep coming back to it.
But yeah, it's very unjust and unfair. Have fun with your hunger strike and tell OCF I say hi.
