Did he just say, "they tell me that Ohio State hasn't beaten an in state team in over 100 years?"   This guy really doesn't fact check!

Perhaps the Huffington Post needs to be fact checked.

If he did say that, it would obviously be a slip of the tongue, like Obama saying that he had visited all 59 states.  In both cases (assuming Huffington quoted Ryan accurately), it's obvious that the speaker wasn't ignorant of the facts but just misspoke.  I don't suppose you have ever meant one thing and said the opposite by mistake.

it wasn't a quote, I watched the video.  I was also just having some fun, I understand people slip up.  I wasn't saying anything about any political affiliations, so I'm not sure why you are bringing up Obama.  All I am saying, on an OHIO message board is that I wouldn't expect anything more from a Miami grad.

No politics involved here, but I'm PROUD for Ryan saying he is from Miami of Ohio instead of Wisconsin. We've been getting enough bad press - lol. He's a selfish politician (like most of them) that's all I can say. I don't like the guy. Don't let the innocent look fool you. He knows what he's doing, and he's not a good guy. I know this for a fact.

Is Ryan the ultimate flip-flopper? In addition to giving a speech to the Miami football team, Ryan was seen/heard joining osu inc. fans in their impressive spelling (O-H. . . I-O) endeavors before the game.

The more I see and read about Ryan, the more he resembles the stereotypical Miami student/alum.

Now if I had written this, the BA mullahs would have instantly edited my text (and failed to extend the courtesy of notifying me).  I used the word "Republican" in a post and it was immediately excised.  I agree that Ryan is dangerous, though. Now maybe they'll delete this post.

Would you guys really rather have Joe Biden a heart beat away from the presidency?  That man is a demagogue of the first order.  His only redeeming quality is that he once played football in Athens with the Blue Hens.  Now I hear a train rumbling down the tracks headed to the Russian gulag, a place where the apparatchik and other citizens were sent for not speaking the truth as defined by the party bosses.

Joe Biden is one hearbeat a way from the Oval Office and no one can match him on stupid things coming from his mouth.  :)

Please do not mix political debate with OHIO sports talk. For some people, this is their escape from that world.

Whoa... my bad!  Sorry, didn't think I'd get relegated... but was a weird mix of football, Miami being our rival, and odd politics... thought it deserved posting :-/

Why are you defending the Miami grad?!?
