Attending the 110 concert at the Ohio Theatre this week got me thinking.  Which of the 4 historic 110 staple songs is your favorite?

Long Train, if I had to choose, but I'd be heartbroken if they took any of them off the setlist.

Long Train, in front of a packed Convo crowd, late in a tight game v. Miami.

Not that it's my vote, but I think Train of Thought deserves to be in the poll.

Cheer juuuuuuuuuust ahead of Long Train. It's so happy.

Totally correct JSF.  Complete oversight by me.  I had this empty feeling when I posted it that said "I feel like there are 5 regular/historic plays."

I'm glad you brought it up rp...That is part of why I asked the question.  They almost have to keep it as part of the playlist going forward.  It's just a great sounding arrangement and will continue to be even after LMFAO falls off the charts.  But on the flipside, they can't just keep adding to the classics without maybe axing one, so I am almost more interested in the last place pick than the first place pick.

I miss them playing Cat Scratch Fever more often. But those 4 plus Party Rock is a terrific playlist. On a side note, anyone know when there will be a new CD?

They usually come out yearly and they typically take orders during the varsity show which recently passed. Any 110ers out there who can let us know if we can still order? I'd buy one.

My wife and I  were at the Varsity Show last Saturday night. They had the order forms for the 2011 CD and DVD.
They also said they should be out by Chrsitmas.

When we can't  get to Athens for the Varsity Show,we order them through the 110's office in the music school.

Typically College Book Store will secure a good supply of them.  Big supporters of the 110.

Their rendition of Alice Cooper's "Poison" has entered that pantheon for me, too. I like it better than the actual song.

Stand up and Cheer!

The more they play it, the more TDs we score.  I hope to hear it over and over and over on Friday.  Go OHIO!

Don't hear it a lot but I'm a fan of "Panama" myself.  Vintage Van Halen is a guilty pleasure of mine and who better than the 110 to highlight the breaks in that tune.

Long Train Runnin' in the Convo easily for me. However, due to the endless on court distractions at breaks that the band has to wait to end before they start playing - I don't think I have heard it played from start to actual finish in.......10 years? They should dedicate the last media time out to full rendition of that each game.

Time outs are only long enough to fit the whole song in when we have TV. Otherwise, not enough time.

Long Train Running in the Convo gets the people going.

I've seen crazier things happen.
