I am an admitted dinosaur in that I still religiously read the Columbus Dispatch print edition and there's nothing I look forward to more than Suddes' weekly column in the Sunday opinion pages of the Dispatch. In fact, I consider it must reading for those wanting to stay up to date with the goings on in our state and nation's capital. A tidbit from today, when describing Jim Jordan, "who is to microphones what iron fillings are to magnets." He's a very good man, with a lot of integrity. He's an officer in my Sons of Union Veterans camp. In the interviews that we often do after the council meetings, I find his students well prepared and enthusiastic about their work. Every once in a while he throws out an opinion piece that I have a different opinion on and I've emailed him about that. Unfortunately I didn't get a response All in all, he represents something that most papers lack today which is really really sad. Very rare of me to take two different classes with the same prof. I was picky. Learned a lot from him.
