Heading up to my spiritual home tomorrow. Any big changes the last couple years I should be aware of?

Heard a rumor they finally got around to building that Richland Ave/West Green underpass/bridge.

I've seen crazier things happen.

Wednesday-Tuesday. I'm tempted to crash a class on Monday.

Kids these days will never know how easy they have it. No playing Frogger on Richland to build agility skills and character. Also, they don't even know what Frogger actually is.

I think with the advent of cell phones the building of these skills have been diminishing for some time anyway. No need to develop them if one is in oblivion and there is no perceived need to do so.

When I was in school there was a running joke about getting tuition paid for by getting hit by a car. Kinda the opposite of frogger.

Chemistry building looks done.

New HCOM building on Union St.

Weld House almost gone on the “old” new south green.

North End Kitchen & Bar is new and does a good job.

Athens Uncorked renovation is pretty sweet.

Don’t trust anyone without a mask.

I don't know your exact time frame of reference but E. State St. I'm sure has some new businesses. Richland avenue I believe got bike lanes south of Athens.

Ridges has more renovations and they moved OUPD up there.

The Convo of course has a new floor and scoreboard. Definitely check it out if you can get in there. The Sook Center at Peden you can walk by.

Just got back from move-in for our son. Stimson is worse than it's usual mess. Road construction has it down to one lane, westbound only.

They've changed the parking lot next to Baker into a metered lot where you go to a kiosk, type in your license plate number, select a time period for your stay, and pay by credit card. It's not bad; it was only a dollar an hour today (Sunday) but I don't know what it might be other days. Beats the $5 an hour I paid at a kiosk in Niagara Falls a few weeks ago. I'm sure on game days it'll be a flat rate for the whole day.

We will get by.

I was in Athens during the golden-era where they had just invented the smart-phone but they still hadn't built those concrete-barriers along the Richland-Ave Bridge so you could still Jay-Walk going to Bentley. IMO looking at my phone while jay-walking adds a level of difficulty that wasn't previously there. Survival of the fittest!

I've seen crazier things happen.
