Being so far away from Athens these days, it's not so easy to follow MAC volleyball. How are we looking? Who are the favorites in the conference?

Haven't been in the Convo but here is what the coaches are saying:

Theis has the MAC's third-best winning percentage, yet I feel a little disappointed in him. I need to check myself.

My sense is they will be deep and they have the talent to be very good if it comes together. Seven returnees with lots of experience, including 3 All-Mac players and the Player of the Year.

I was impressed with all 5 freshman players at the Green-White game. Katie Horton and Mallory Salis particularly stood out. Also picked up  grad. student Alexis Pinson (Sports Ad. program comes through again) who led Arizona State in blocks last year.  Great addition after losing Middle Blocker Serena Warner who transferred to Oregon. Interestingly, we play Oregon on Sunday.

Ryan continues to play very challenging OOC schedules, including 4 top 25 teams. This weekend at the Oregon Classic, OHIO plays 2 teams, Bryant and Eastern Washington that are probably overmatched before taking on No. 8 Oregon. All games will be streamed by Oregon.

Go OHIO
