Nate Johnson – ’21 Lakota East PG/SG: Those who follow us on Twitter know that we’ve been very high on Johnson’s upside since this past high school season, as, in our opinion, Johnson possesses more athletic upside then any prospect in Ohio’s 2021 class. That being said, his basketball skill-set and IQ are starting to improve, and that is leading to strong results on the court. Johnson recently added his first two NCAA D1 offers, from Miami (OH) and Ohio University, and we expect that list to grow after yesterday’s performance. A powerful and super athletic combo guard who can attack the rim but who is also an exceptional passes, Johnson has elite defensive upside and shows promise as a slasher; as his jump-shot improves he’ll be able to challenge any 2021 guard in Ohio in recruiting circles.

Almost went to their game tonight as they played my alma mater. Averaging 30 ppg across three games against great competition. Shooting 67% from the field.
