Strengths: Wigginton is a high level athlete who gets his head on the rim with bouncy athleticism. He is a tremendous finisher going to the basket as he not only features the bounce to get above the defense but also the body control to elude people in mid-air. He is at his best in the open floor, where he is very smooth going north to south, and unstoppable when able to get close enough to elevate. Physically, he has good size and an already strong frame with plenty of room to support additional muscle mass.
Weaknesses: Wigginton's skill set is a work in progress as he tends to shoot a flat ball from the perimeter and isn't more than a one or two dribble player at this point. His jumper has improved consistently within the last year and is fine mechanically other than his low trajectory, so he could be a good shooter in time. He also needs to learn to play hard consistently on both ends of the floor as he has a motor that has been inconsistent over the years.
Bottom Line: Wigginton has undeniable talent with physical tools that just can't be taught, but he is still a few years away from putting all the pieces together as he is still raw and in the very early stages of his development.
