Scout.com is showing an Ohio offer to 2014 PG prospect P.J. Thompson from Indianapolis Brebeuf Jesuit High School. The 5-10, 155-pounder reportedly has offers from Wisconsin-Green Bay, Miami (OH), DePaul, Ball St., IUPUI, Toledo, Indiana St. and Dartmouth with heavy interest from Butler, Creighton and Purdue.

Perhaps I'm just hoping or reading too much into his youtube highlights but he seems to have the same aggressiveness and even the same look on his circus shots and tough angles that a certain former No. 5 who rhymes with "Sooper" did! Man that kid is tough! His 3 looks deadly, albeit disjointed at times but man he's unafraid. I'm sure it would change with someone like Kris Brewer guarding him but I think he looks great. Almost like an athletic version of Stevie.

Sorry I messed up. The video I posted above was NOT PJ Thompson of Indiana but rather a PJ of Georgia. Both 2014 recruits but only one with an offer from us I believe.

I don't know about more athletic, but he looks like a more under control Stevie. And he's 5'10"? Seems shorter than that.

Visited Purdue today. From what I can tell, no offer yet from them. From what their fans are saying, they desperately need a PG for next year.

I think this kid is very high on our board. He would be an excellent addition to our current class. This class is already a Top 100 class. Add a good point and I think we show up on some of the recruiting service rankings near 50.
