From what I�ve seen, AJ�s game is very similar to Jason Carter�s. Not quite as physical yet, but has a ton of finesse and can finish from the 3 or post-up. Another nice, early offer from the Bobcats.

He has been at the last 2 summer camps at Ohio and has been on our list since then

My grandson coaches in that league and tells me he is the real deal. He will be seen this coming AAU season

It would be nice to get an MVL kid on the team. I�ve noticed a recent uptick in talent level. No big names, but a couple small D1 players the past few years. Seems to be the best player the MVL has had in quite some time.

I would say this is an impressive get. 6'9 and only 16.....don't know how he won't be 6-10 by the time he gets to Athens next fall. Preston/BVP senior year squad is looking stacked right now. Great job Boals and company!

This kid is a 22 recruit so that means he will not play with Jay and BVP. He will replace BVP.

Clayton chose Ohio over other offers from Cleveland St., Kent St., St. Joseph's, and Robert Morris.

Yep...I like that he seems very loyal. But man this is going to be a long wait until he signs. Have to believe if he continues to elevate his game the big boys come calling.

I wouldn't understand the point of committing before junior year begins if he still hopes for bigger offers.

Great commit, he can continue to develop and communicate with our coaches which will allow for an easier transition to division 1 basketball.
