I don't know how many students UD gets at a game vs. us...but from the video, it looks like we may be similar in sheer numbers. The difference is their students are much more into the game.
Is it necessarily a bad thing that our students are more spectators than cheer-ers? I mean, way back when I was in school my friends and I made most games...but we weren't the ones screaming at the front of the student section. It takes all types in a crowd.
I just have a hard time faulting 18-22 year olds that make the effort for coming to a game because they're not loud enough. Most of us sit on our hands all game, maybe we're part of the problem.

Dayton is a consistent top 30 in the nation in attendance in a similar size arena. They are what we should want to be in terms of attendance, IMO. Love the atmosphere
