We don't know the answer to that question, but we do know that there are plenty of potential receivers. In the list of 26 transfers, there are 5 WR and 3 TE, plus an RB, so 9 potential people to catch the ball. On top of that, the Freshmen who will arrive include 3 more WR, 2 more TE, another RB, plus an "athlete", a total of 7 more potential people to catch the ball. It doesn't stop there, though; there are also 2 more receivers who are preferred walkons. All told, Ohio added 10 Wide Receivers, 5 TE, one "athlete" and 2 running backs, a total of 18 more players who are potential receivers. Hopefully, in amongst all those numbers, some new stars will appear.

100% agree.

Plenty of options at the WR position.

Between Chase Hendricks, Rodney Harris, Coleman Owen, the 3 recent transfers (Hartup, Pugh, Dennis), as well as the incoming freshman (Dorwart, Hurst)...I think we will be perfectly fine.

Did I completely miss that we lost Hilton as well?

We lost our Top 7 in receiving yards last year + a bunch of dudes who were supposed to be next up (Hammer, Hilton, Rhone) Would be stunned if anyone else in the country was hit harder than we were.

Jacoby REALLY hurts, but man that room was decimated top to bottom.

I have high hopes for Owen, Rodarte continuing to be productive as they were in JUCO/FCS. Especially Rodarte. Hendricks (11 catches) and Rodney Harris (1 catch) are the only two WR returning who had a catch last season...

Would be nice to see one or two of these freshman explode on the scene.

Harris is good. I saw him several times in high school and was quite surprised we landed him. I thought he'd have no problem producing someplace like Pitt, IU, BC, etc. Sebastian Smith clone.

Coleman Owen and Izaiah Hartup were very productive at the FCS level and hopefully that will translate here.

The big question for me is what kind of production will we get out of the two B10 transfers in Dennis (Michigan) and Pugh (Illinois).

I complain about this so much I'm sure people are tired of listening to me, but kids join the team in May-June and expect to be ready for August? Crazy. The times we live, but boy do I hate it. Parker looks like he's still in town, but are these kids? They're gonna meet each other in the huddle at Syracuse lol

While true, the other teams Ohio faces will have the same problem, perhaps to a lesser extent, but still the same problem.
