This could be the first season in ten years that three MAC football teams get 10 or more wins. Toledo is already there at 10-1 and could finish 13-1 if it wins out (next week at CMU, MACCG vs MOFO, bowl game). MOFO is 902 and needs one win in its last three (next week at BSU, the MACCG, bowl game). And 8-3 Ohio could win ten by winning at Akron next week and its bowl game.

The last time the MAC had three football teams with 10+ wins was 2013 when NIU, BSU and BG all got there. The last time the MAC had two football teams with double-digit wins was 2015 when BG and Toledo did it.

Meanwhile, however, the MAC may not fill all their bowl slots. Four teams are eligible so far, Toledo, MOFO, Ohio, and BG. NIU needs to beat Kent State to become the fifth team, which they should be able to do. EMU plays in Buffalo, where anything can happen. CMU is the longest shot, needing to win at home against Toledo, not impossible, but not likely, either.

I think this has to do with home some teams really got hurt by the transfer portal--Kent and Ball State in particular. There is a good reason why there may be three 10 win teams and not enough teams eligible for bowl games.
