Some coaches have suggested this to level the playing field between the Clemon’s and the Little Sisters of the Poor. It’s laughable! What about their outrageous salaries being capped?

Coaches think Clemson has more resources than us so do we need to limit Clemson's resources? Does a coach draw the line for NIL spending at about where he can currently spend and not think that he should be limited for the sake of the 1000 college football programs in the USA that can spend less than him all while he draws a salary or millions of dollars a year and, obviously, there should be no cap on that? Glaring Hypocrisy.

Since it takes one to know one, I'll agree! ;-)

It appears that the NCAA and the member institutions don’t want to compensate “student athletes”. They’ve played this game since the 1950s.

This is a little over a year old, but I think it contains some good ideas to rein in the excesses of NIL.

That’s a great article and the author makes some very good points about compensation.
