According to some sources Kennesaw State's Brian Bohannon, who runs the triple option offense and has a tremendous record there over a long period of time, is the leading candidate.

The only BLSS Certified Hypocrite on BA

If I read correctly, Kennesaw State is FCS.

Except for Kennesaw State, Brian Bohannon's resume seems to be as a Position Coach.
Not even an Offensive or Defensive Coordinator at an FBS school.

Granted, he's doing well as Kennesaw's Head Coach.
But its a big jump from there to being Head Coach at a program like Navy.

They are jumping to FBS, but it hasn't happened yet. Next season?

Kennesaw State will fully join Conference USA in 2024-25, though the transition begins in 2023.
