... because they are a bunch of veterans. These are all 5th-6th year players:
Grad: Sanders, Caesar
6th Year: Floyd
R-Sr: Watkins, Matthews, McCracken, McCrory, Thompson, Houston, Birchette

Mixed in with these are two Freshmen, Adonis Williams, Jr. and Torrie Cox.

Some here argue that this isn't the most talented group of defensive players that Ohio has had. On the other hand, I don't recall a group with more years of experience. It's time for them to finish their career strong, and to make some memories to carry with them.

I've been impressed with the freshman, particularly Cox.

It seems like a bunch of these guys are injured, aren’t they? I can’t keep up.

We sure didn’t stop the run today whether it was up the middle or wide. Thank God Lynch can’t throw the ball.

The NIU O Line is HUGE and athletic. The wildcat O scheme is all they got and they do it well. But that is not enough to win most games...

I was afraid of that but we managed.

This is a guy who doesn’t care about facts or winning. All games are about making plays when it counts. OHIO gets no grace in the W/L column regardless of injuries (and we have ours). But these kids grinded it out and got the DUB! Kudos to them.

The defense continues to improve. They kept NIU out of the endzone most of the day. They need to keep improving for Ohio to keep winning. This team is not dominant, but they have heart.

Billy, relax. I love winning. I simply made a factual statement. We did not stop the run today. If you look at my post I said it was a good win. I don’t know what your problem is.
