This kid plays for traditional powerhouse Nashville M.B.A. which is also an elite academic school. He was actually the backup tailback last season so 247 and Rivals don't have ratings for him yet... but now that he's the starter, his numbers are blowing up. Bigtime. Is there a way to get his highlights to a RB coach in Athens?

Hard to evaluate when you never see any contact and running through holes the size of Rhode Island.

Then get Coach Rudolph on the horn, too.

He's not even running through holes in a lot of those highlights. In a few cases there was just a side of the field with nobody on it.

All three of the teams he was playing against are ranked and have won the state at various classifications the last few years. Two of the programs have players in the NFL iirc.- including Van Jefferson of the current Super Bowl champs...that field with the Fiami Redhawk looking logo... yes he played there.

Since 247 and Rivals haven't started a web page yet, hard to be certain.

But the head coach at Vandy (up the street from MBA) played there at Montgomery Bell. And with academics being as they are, VU certainly should be in on the kid. And if/when offered by Vandy, watch for Duke, Northwestern, other highly academic schools to get in on it. That's the usual pattern.

So you are saying he could be a can’t miss SEC player. Good for him.

What is your problem? You are insufferable.

Obviously Duke and Northwestern are not in the SEC.

I am just agreeing with you. Vandy, will jump on board because the head coach went to school there! That's how recruiting works, thanks for reminding me! I am glad that he has the ACC and Big10 as fall back schools if Vandy doesn't work out.

247 just started a page on him. Four mids including Toledo are on his list.

Eddie George at TSU was his first (public) offer.

MaxPreps now ranks him as the #2 RB in the state.

When Vandy offers, they won't talk about it. They have had issues for a while with other school swooping in and poaching their recruits. Started big when "Poach" James Franklin left for Penn State, taking key recruits with him and continues to this day.

Could be mistaken, but I believe its still the case that school NEVER announce when they offer someone, as that's an NCAA violation. To my knowledge, offers on sites like 24/7 are reported by the player, a parent, or one of their high school coaches.
