From what I can gather, also held offers from Army, Air Force, Liberty, Marshall, Coastal Carolina, Western Michigan, Toledo, Navy, Miami, Kent, EMU, CMU, Buffalo, Ball State, App State, Akron, and a handful of FCS teams.

I am no scout, but I will tell you what I love. Seems to LOVE run blocking and can really move (pulling, getting down the field for 2nd level blocks). I loved seeing him pancake a guy and then pick him up. I always love an athlete who will compete with everything and then show true sportsmanship. A few blocks were carried out so far downfield that it looked like a scene from The Blind Side.
Only "negative" was that he looked to lean a bit forward at the waist and be a bit off-balance at times.
Love the GPA and Ross tends to put out some tough, strong kids. I think he will be a multi- year starter for us.

110 percent totally agree with this. Whenever I see a player who helps an opponent up after a play, I mark that guy down as a good person and good sportsman. When that player is one who plays for OHIO, he's truly something special!

So i just watched his film. I will start with the positives and end with his needs for improvement.
Pros:
*Running Block Strength
*Upper Body Strength
*Run Block Footwork
*Attitude towards the game
*Effort to finish
*Body could hold extra 30 - 40lbs
*Potential for 1+ inch(es) of height
Cons:
*No punch with arms on contact
*Tends to hold after defender disengages
*No film with player equal or bigger than himself to see how he reacts
*Leans over toes quite a bit (unbalanced)
*Likes to make pad contact on Pass Block instead of Arm Punch and lockout.
Solid Run Blocking Offensive Guard. Will need to work on close quarters arm punch to not miss top MAC D-Lineman who are good at hand-bats and pure bull rush.
Not worried about the unbalance as DAK will fix that with his squat routine.
But the arm punch has to come along or other teams D-Coords will blitz his holes all game.
