A recruit yesterday tweeted a photo of himself wearing an Ohio uniform and that stupid-ass green velvet crown seen on the sideline during one of our embarrassing early-season losses. Have we really fallen so far that we're using props like this to attract "student-athletes?"

No one cares if you're embarrassed by kids being kids. Ohio isn't the only program who has used props while recruiting. Obviously it worked the kid posted it proudly. Why are you stalking their pages complaining?

I'm not stalking pages; it was on my Twitter feed. This isn't "kids being kids." It's adults handing kids stupid props that don't reflect the opportunity they are being offered. We're trying to bring young men to play and learn on our campus, not to become "The Wiz."

The kids Love that 👑 Don’t be embarrassed. Actually I saw them take come nice pictures with the crown ,gold chips and the gold bars. They enjoyed themselves.
