This page has been silent on Ohio's efforts for some time. Any word from the panel? What happened to the much discussed transfer quarterback? Last that someone mentioned is that the team was looking for a backup QB and a kicker for the last two scholarships. There's not much proven out there at kicker, so if the team can land anyone, it will probably have to be based on workout videos. The best guy I found is grad transfer Tyler Sumpter of Troy. He looks like a high level kicker and punter, so I expect he will get some great offers. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach.
