Also has offers from EKU and Kent

I live in Lebanon and I think we may even live in the same neighborhood. I've seen him around riding bikes with who I assume is a younger brother. 6'1" is just the verbalcommits height. He's probably 6'4". Good lefty shooter and okay athleticism for this stage. Need to see more defensive intensity. I hope he sticks around as he's probably the best player in his conference and could raise the bar for Lebanon basketball, but he's probably the tallest guy in the whole program. This community is ALL football and baseball when it comes to boys sports.

Actually, now the second best player in the conference. I learned that Cincinnati verbal Tyler McKinley is back from prep school and finishing his high school career at Winton Woods.

Also, Anthony was a spring AAU teammate of another 2026 SG we offered, Jeremiah Jackson out of Kentucky.

Shaba

I also live in Lebanon (since I left the wonderful world of Athens in 1997!)

Anthony is a great kid. Know his family in passing from the Y as both our kids were often there working on their games with their dads! Mine ended up as a 5'6" shooter going into her jr. year on her hs team. Anthony ended up 6'4, 6'5 with a crazy long wingspan. Really good handle for a wing with range. If he adds a bit of strength and intensity, he will go high-major IMHO.

Would be a great get for us! Has a young Sonny Troutman type of game.

Just got back from Lebanon's opener against Kings. Kings won 63-60. Anthony is listed on the roster as 6'7" and I think I believe it so I'm editing the title. He's incredibly long limbed and if he stays a wing, he will be an excellent shot blocker at that position. He had 20 points but it was a bit of a disjointed 20 with not many dedicated touches. The tools and potential are certainly there for a possible P5 landing spot.

Kings has a 6'3" junior guard named Tommy Clark with offers from Radford and SEMO. He got off to a slow start with some airballs but eventually really started to cook and assert himself. Great handles and nice looking stroke with bounce. Maybe a slightly bigger Ajay Sheldon for comparison. Had a thunderous two hand dunk on a breakaway but got teched for swinging on the rim a bit. Interesting player. Maybe we jump in.

Noticed Miami assistant Rob Summers in attendance. How can you not - he's seven feet tall. I think they like both guys but haven't pulled the trigger on either.

Went to their game on Friday and Anthony put it all on display. Slams, pull-ups, threes, putbacks. Had 30 and made it look easy.

Closes the sophomore campaign with a 29 point, 7 rebound, 3 block performance in the sectional final loss at Centerville vs Wayne. Looked every bit of a P6 recruit. Texas offered this week and I may have seen a Purdue coach in attendance. Might be 6'8".

Brutal ending though. Wayne wins on a buzzer beater three in overtime.
