JUST IN Chase Boals (Jeff's son) was offered PWO spot today - currently in senior season at New Albany. One previous offer from Stony Brook likely when Jeff coached there. Would fill a need for us at PF / C position for the future. Met him numerous times and great kid!

Would love to see another Boals taking the court - this time one hopefully in person.

In these days of virtually unlimited transfers, I doubt this really means anything in terms of Jeff's future.

Cellis, I'm gonna suggest you temper your expectations. I doubt the younger Boals will be nothing more than a body to throw out there for practices. No less than three Newark coaches confirmed this after Newark beat New Albany this week in a district semifinal game.

Yeah, I can see this now having seen film of him playing with New Albany - I think he's likely coming to take the last walkon spot, Ohio MBB is now in his Instagram bio, which in Gen Z terms means he's likely on team for 24-25.
