Akron will get a huge boost from Kamrin Oriol who is seeking another year. 21ppg last season at North Florida.

Big day for MAC. Buffalo lands Syracuse transfer JJ Starling if he gets an extra year. Put up 11ppg last season and 18ppg the season before.

Aidan Hadaway announced on Instagram that he has committed to Wisconsin - Green Bay. Hadaway the basketball player was a really solid MAC player, great interior player and defender. Unfortunately, last year he couldn’t get out of his own way and led to a pretty frustrating experience for about everyone involved from the fans to the coaches. I still find it hard to hold a grudge on him because you could always rely on him to show up and give 110% even if that meant it came with some techs and celebrations down 20 points. Hope he can get it together and put up a solid last season because Hadaway the basketball player is too good to be holding himself back.

Perhaps, UWGB wanted to lead the nation in at least one statistical category, and figured if they couldn't get there any other way technical fouls would work! ;-)

I'd love to know if he tried to get his 5th year here. Did Boals entertain the idea at all or if Chaos just skipped and wanted to go elsewhere with no interest in returning to Ohio.

I have to believe it was never an option for him or Boals.

Hadaway was a proud 4 year Bobcat who had some incredible games. His in-game antics were a weakness no doubt, but I refuse to let that be all that defines him. Watching from a few rows behind the bench, I view the coaches failure to reign him in as the the most head scratching failure of their time here. It reminded me of parents who for whatever reason are afraid to discipline their bratty child.

Was told the coaching staff didn't know which version of Hadaway they would get from one moment to the next. One minute he'd say all the right things, only to then do the opposite. Unmanageable both on and off the court.

Was surprised to learn how difficult JJ Kelly was behind the scenes. That's why he's no longer in Athens.

I was sad to see JJ go, but if it was the staff's influence/recommendation, good. Get locker room problems out of town.
