Besides the production being an absolute disaster, the one thing I noted is that he was very careful to avoid using the words Ohio University, Bobcats, as much as possible.

Also noted that Dustin Ford likely to be part of his staff. Unsurprising.

Arkley noted that the Akron president or AD, can't remember which, called Ohio "the school down south."

Nice Presser.

Always says the right things. He is a good guy and a competitor.

TNT lives on....

Nice to hear COnnor loves the Q and remembers climbing the ladder.

Guess we know now who the BigManz coach will be. Illinois posters said they would miss arguing about that on their board.

I think he will do well there.

I appreciated him asking "why did you come to Akron?". FOr me that has been the singular most impressive thing about OHIO. Everyone I have run across tells me a story about coming to OHIO....I never asked ...they just gushed about how they got there. T'm interested to hear a recap of reasons for getting to Akron.

Good Luck .... It's Akron.
never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Winter comes and asks how you spent your summer.....

The game loves and rewards those who love and reward the game

I sincerely hope that the Ozone sports bald caps when Groce first returns to the Convo. We can have fun with this in a good-natured way.

If you're attending next year's Akron @ Ohio game hoping for a "good-natured" crowd, I think you're going to be severely disappointed.
I've seen crazier things happen.

I tell you what, between Saul at the Caravan yesterday, and JG at his press conference this morning, I learned pretty much nothing I didn't already know. Very vanilla.

I can't help but wonder if Groce's notepad he used in the press conference was in a desk drawer since his Ohio or Illinois presser. I think I've heard it all before at least once, maybe a couple times :)
