They can and have done it. Things are changing and the “student athletes” have more freedom to move around, just like everyone else on the planet. You asking about “the price of eggs in China” should be asked in front of a mirror.

Noah Farrakhan finally signed with someone. He's at West Virginia. Players are still signing at this as school is about to start.

Reading through the Fiami board sounds like academic / personal reasons. Second guy in two years to flunk out there if that is true.

Has anyone seen an Ali update? Wild how drawn out these decisions are.

Still no word on Ali ... guessing Safford sits. Too late to enroll first semester. May need a semester to get eligible???

James Graham of Buffalo denied waiver for immediate eligibility as two-time transfer. I’ve yet to see an exception to this new rule; tough to imagine Ali getting through.

I'm confused...is Ali Ali still not eligible?

The NCAA hasn’t made a decision on him yet. The trend seems to be however, that two-time transfers aren’t being granted immediate eligibility and are having to sit a year.

I haven't seen this written anywhere...interesting. Akron plays tonight.

Same, I’m also a little confused by it and the posters on the Zips board. I think the initial impression is/was eligible; but many Akron fans state it’s still not for certain and are awaiting word.

Wow...can't wait to see if he's dressed tonight for against South Dakota State.

And also winning at a place where very few road teams escape with a win. Some people on Twitter are saying it’s just a matter of time before Ali Ali becomes eligible. We’ll see. They are a problem regardless.

Oh yea, they will be for sure. 19 points off the bench from Dawson. No clue what to think about Ali. Posters on the fan boards aren't confident; Twitter verse is.

I just don't know how the NCAA can't make a decision on the matter by opening night.

If the past few weeks are any indication with other two-time transfers, he's not getting a waiver for 2023-2024.

Can we un-pin this thread now? The dead horse has officially been beaten.

I agree…let’s un-pin. All this thread does now is remind me to look up Myles Foster’s box scores at Illinois State and watch him put up double doubles. But hey…at least we still have The Whiz on the roster to help cushion that blow. The “improved” Whiz that so many here have pointed out.

Onward and forward.
