Our best players from now on are going to be two-and-dones.
I love overly board non-qualified predictions like this. They’re almost always wrong.
How about one of the following qualifications?

* there will be a strong tendency toward
* the majority of
* many of
* at least some of
Any of these would have been an improvement. I’d prefer the first in your list.

Actually thought BVP would end up at Butler over Akron's Ali. Believe BVP is a better player, but Ali has 2-3 years still to play I believe.
I thought it would be a chance as well. I think BVP being a one year player might be a deal breaker for several P5 schools. Part of me thinks he will return to us but I don't blame him at all if he decides to go to another school.
I'd look for BVP to land at Virginia. I would say next to 0% he comes back to Athens
That wouldn't surprise me either. Then he'll have a billion 18 year olds hating on him at that little private school called Dook
He'd love that lol. I think he's looking for his 7th degree, so he wants to branch elsewhere. Academically, he's exhausted all options at Ohio. I'll actively look to watch him wherever he ends up. Sears...... not so much

Yeah I could see him moving on as a result of our limited graduate programs. I will too, the guy is a forever legend here! I'd personally love to see what the Crazies say about him, lol.

We've got a ton of graduate programs at Ohio.....it's just that he already has two masters degrees from Ohio in business/communications. Probably better academically to move on so he can tap into new faculty resources in his area of interest.

Akron just got a transfer from a P5. A 6-9 PF from Ole Miss.

Then again, KSU got a 6-9 transfer from the SEC this past season and he averaged only 7 min/game despite being a starter the last month or two. In other words, transfers from P5 don't necessarily mean immediate dividends.

Isn't this his second transfer within the conference? First was NIU to Ball. Never thought I'd see players transferring *twice* within the MAC.

Looks like he's meandering eastward. Akron, Kent or Buffalo should probably be next.

True. But also appears that he favors the MAC West over the East. So, WMU, CMU or EMU perhaps? Or WKU if he hangs around long enough?

Added Sammy Hunter (Ole Miss) to Akron, Tyler Cochran (Ball St.) to Toledo, Kanye Jones (Boston College) to Buffalo, Ali Ali from Akron to Butler and Bryce McBride from EMU to YSU.

Saw a rumor that Peyton Daniels (left Vandy after 3 games) is back in the portal after transferring to SF Austin and not playing there yet. That means immediately eligible or almost immediate? Right?

His original offers out of h.s. included Alabama, Georgia, GaTech, Ole Miss, VaTech, MTSU, etc. There is no shortage of available talent.

Glad to hear this. Hopefully his picture with Clayton’s number isn’t significant.

Don’t think it is, AJ reposted Gabe’s story (with Gabe in the 23 jersey) to his Instagram.

Clayton wore #1 in high school I believe, so that number is now open, so maybe he is switching.

Potentially, he would have priority over others, Ajay Sheldon also wore #1 but he will likely have to choose a different number.

Tray Maddox, Jr. has transferred to Western Mich from Cal State Fullerton. One thing I've noticed about Western Michigan - no one in portal and returning Norman, Jr. I believe they also got Javaughn Hannah. They will be a threat for a MAC tourney spot next year. It seems Dwayne Stephens wants to win now

Terren Frank 6-8/240 TCU/Vandy is finally officially in the portal. The rumor on him to the portal has been simmering for a long while.

Played at the famous Sierra Canyon with other sons of stars. Also had h.s. offers from Arizona, Arizona State, USC, etc. Not much sample size in college due to covid/injuries. He is built like a tank. Would expect a mid-major to be in his future.
