Just announced by Marty: Jack Fries is out for this game.

Earlier it was reported that Nick Poulos will be active.

Good start running the ball.

Just like MDWST said; If you stop Flores, you stop their offense.

Just got one stop there on 4th down. Nice.

I am so glad we finally found a kicker that can put the ball in the end zone every time and never allow a return. Keep it up.
Figures, I say that and the next two kickoffs are short, duh!

23 yards rushing for the MAC’s #1rushing attack.

Love to see it.

And an incredible ball from Poulus there. Hit Bowman over the defenders shoulder right into the bread basket. Beautiful.

Special teams in general has really stepped it up this year. Punting had been solid. Hamilton is a great returner. Kicking is pretty reliable as long as it doesn’t get blocked.

I would like to officially apologize to Vic Rosa. Has shown some nice speed hitting gaps in the line today.

My observation too. Then the defense has tightened up and finally the O is getting to be where it needs to be.

Dan Lefevour ain’t coming through that door.

Keep the peddle down. Stay injury free. Go enjoy homecoming! Great half of football. Nearly 400 yards. 3 TD from NP. Everybody getting in on the fun. Suspect we’ll see Davis here before the end of the 3rd, unless they want to let Poulus get the reps he missed.

Shoutout to this announcer. Can we get him every game? Buddy, LOVES Poulus. Just said he’s playing like Josh Allen. :)

I hated seeing LB Christopher going down early in the season and having to miss the last several games. Then on top of that, LB Fries injured his wrist/hand at Kent last week and didn't dress for today's game. But then I remembered how one of BA's more astute and savvy posters pointed out the play of Jermaine Minnis in the Stonehill game thread. Forced into the starting lineup today, all the freshman LB did was lead all players with 12 tackles.

This is a player I would get excited about in the pre-portal days of college sports.

yawn for two quarters in the rain. Gotta play better than that offense..

#4 who returns punts needs a few plays on offense each game to spice up certain looks you can give opponents. He is fast and tough.

A homecoming dream come true. I never felt nervous after kickoff. Getting that 4th down stop right away set the tone. They had no chance against our defense. And we didn't have Fries! Guys stepped up in every moment, incredible job by the coaching staff with the game plan.

This offense is COMPLETELY different with Poulos. Wow, did he look fantastic.

Keep it rolling. I feel great about 2-0 but this is the MAC where anything can happen. But for today heading back to Athens for some food and shopping... I will dream.

What a day at the Convo.....Wow!

The first home game had a smaller crown near the end because of the rain. The second game was just not an interesting game. The third game was hampered in the 2nd half by a lot more rain than was expected and an unexpected blowout. Hopefully, there will be a lot more energy against EMU.

Although, I would gladly take a blowout without the rain even if it means a few more people leave early.

That 1st half was an absolute clinic on both sides of the ball. Not surprised the 2nd half became a bit ho-hun, game was in hand and the weather sucked. My only complaint/observation was I would NEVER had Poulus in the game early in the 4th qtr. and beyond and would NEVER had him running the ball during that period. Game was well in hand and just thought nothing good was going to happen leaving him exposed at that point. Clearly we are a different team with a healthy Poulus
