I guess I answered my own question after watching Brian Smith's Week One presser.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJx9vQezlkM

He's mentions Dorian at the 2:23 mark. So that's good to hear.

Does Walter Bob exist? No picture. No height. No weight.

He played last season

Keeps it mysterious.

6'4" 250.

Though it is odd they don't have a picture, height, or weight for this season or last.

Haines is a Massillon kid. Kent, Ark St, Ohio apparently. Saw him at the gym a few weeks this Summner.Looks like he could have played OLB.

Colton Grover WR
Leroy Bowers S from Southern and UC
Joshua Johnson OL no clue on his origins.

Oh, Bowers! Another Princeton guy. I think a year or two older than Rodney Harris and Anas Luqman. Exceptionally good player then. The stats don't look like they came along at UC or Southern. Wonder what the story is there. Twitter shows a grad transfer with two years left.

We finally have some Cincinnati connections.

Cutting into Fiamis territory.

Another 320+ pounder from somewhere.

Keep em comin.

Heights and weights are adjusted on the latest roster. Walter Bob is still just aj idea as he has no picture, height, or weight.

Several of our interior defensive linemen have slimmed down. We have only one over 280. We want that?

Actual roster turnover from 2024 --> 2025.

It's really crazy when you actually compare the 2024 to 2025 roster and the number of players no longer on it for various reasons (graduation, transfer, etc.). And yes, I realize I don't have a life and am bored waiting for the season to start.

Change of 54 players (approx half of the roster). It's gotta be tough these days to be a coach / recruiter.

Christophe Atkinson
Beau Blankenship
Jack Borer
Stellan Bowman
Austin Brawley
Sinn Brennan
Bryce Butler
Carson Canning
Jacob Dennison
CJ Doggette
Sam Ehret
Andrew Erby
Miles Fleming
Colby Garfield
Joseph Habinowski
Carson Heidecker
Bralen Henderson
Rickey Hunt Jr.
Devon Hunter
Dustin Johnson
Jaylen Johnson
Xander Karagosian
Blake Leake
Jacob Lewis
Ryan Matheny
Chris Mayfield
Nolan McCormick
Ryan McDole
Ben McNaboe
Brennan Meadows
Danny Novickas
Maverick Ohle
Coleman Owen
Roman Parodie
Cam Rice
Kaden Rogers
Bailey Russ
Kadin Schmitz
Brady Sestili
LJ Shumpert
Jake Skelly
Gianni Spetic
Parker Startz
Matthew Stuewe
Shay Taylor
Hunter Thompson
Parker Titsworth
Anthony Tyus III
Marcel Walker-Burgess
Bradley Weaver
Callum Wither
Jeremiah Wood
Joey Woolard
Jack Wilson

Some interesting names on there that quietly left the program.

It is an amazing list. I have no idea how these coaches and admin grasp this on a yearly basis. Half the roster. It seems like new dudes show up almost daily at this point.

I’m pretty sure Grover is friends with Navarro from his HS.

Hauser’s D seems to rely on quickness so I’m not too concerned.

Plus has gone from 320 to 280.

Dukes is now listed at 288….a few others have bulked up.

A punter named Magnus? Sign me up. Name alone is worth another 15 yards of carry.

If you were truly bored, you've still got 10 days to take this list and put where they ended up next to each name. Thanks in advance.

Joshua “JJ” Johnson is a reserve OL/grad transfer (two years left) from Eastern Illinois via Westerville Central.

I have to think there is a story involved there with Bob. Alas we just have to wait for the depth charts.

He's a bit of a flake. Great in some drills, loses focus in others. Same in game situations. They're trying to get him to be more consistent and mature. Nice young man overall. Great upside. At least this is what I have heard.
