FAU Message board is very concerned about their defense.

GO BOBCATS
Yeah, FAU would obviously get a huge boost if Rourke can't play but if Rourke does FAU's defense could be in trouble. Ohio diced them up last year. If Rourke does not play we will either need a number of turnovers or to rush for 250 yards,

Even if Rourke plays, the weather might be the 12th defender versus the Ohio pass

Really looking forward to watching this one but I wonder if it will be delayed for a bit due to the weather? Maybe Russ will have an update in a little bit when the pregame starts? Looks like rain/possible thunderstorm right around game time.

Yeah, Russ said in the pregame that they are not kicking at 6pm. Kick time to be determined.

Coach just said both would play.

looks like 6:30. Lots of delays today. JMU-UVA, Purdue-VaTech just getting restarted after getting three inches of rain in five hours, , ND-NCSt, I think, and maybe T'erd and ECU.
We will get by.

The old saying field goals are for losers.

We don’t go for fourth and three on the 27 but we go from fourth and six?

4th and 3. Ohio lines up. FAU inexplicably plays off Wiglusz. Easy pitch and catch to convert. Instead, let's call time out, and miss an FG. SMH.

Any reason why Spetic didn’t kick the FG?

Any reason why we didn’t go on the 27th yard line at fourth and three? That is the real question. Second real question is why do we go for a first down at fourth and six on the 34 yard line?

How many 15+ yards passes do we have? Why aren’t we taking shots?

We are a turnover machine. What do they say about regressing to the mean.

Spetic

and Kasee

are two Freshmen who are competing for the kicking job this year.

Probably the best defensive effort I’ve seen in 40 years. It will probably get worse in the second half.

I know there’s a tv/movie writers strike. But is there a cameraman and production crew strike as well? Good grief …
Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

Coach Izzy knows Kurtis is back there right? Not CJ. So maybe we can get more than one pass on a drive.

FAU hybrid Safety is playing mostly outside the box. Numbers favor running however I would like to see some guards and tackles pull or some stretch plays. Hybrid safety comes down to take the edge and there's a pulling OL will open up 2nd level more. Straight up blocking only works for so long.

What a defensive game for OUr Cats!

Only 3 points allowed and that on a short field turnover!
