Pretty rough Week 1 schedule for the MAC East (besides Buffalo). Besides OU potentially over Syracuse, I don't see any other week 1 "upsets"

Akron at Auburn (-36.5)
W - 69-7 Buffalo v Wagner (FCS)
L - 6-38 Bowling Green at Tennessee (-35)
Kent State at #6 Texas A&M (-28.5)
Miami(OH) at #8 Cincinnati (-22.5)
Ohio v Syracuse (-1.5)


W - 31-21 Ball State v Western Illinois (FCS)
Central Michigan at Missouri (-14)
W - 35-15 Eastern Michigan v St. Francis (PA) (FCS)
Northern Illinois at Georgia Tech (-18)

Have a hunch CMU at Mizzo might be an upset possibility.

Ball State did not look very good against their opponent, an FCS team that has gone 1-17 in the last two seasons. I think WMU could give Mich a scare.

We can beat Northwestern. They lost by 17 to a truly mediocre Michigan State.

Fiami and WMU got creamed; CMU beat the spread; NIU leads Ga Tech by 14 with 8:00 to go in the half.

10:08 pm update: NIU still leads Ga Tech 14-7 with 13 minutes left in the 4th.

And Kent, a 28.5-pt underdog, trails Tx A&M by only 10 with 8:30 to go in the 3rd.
