I am at my granddaughter's house and she has been telling me about TJ Carrie giving a talk at Wadsworth Middle School on Tuesday. She was very impressed with him and what he had to say. He was giving a motivational speech and talked about his heart issues. She is not a sports fan but was very impressed and talked about being from Ohio. He is a very good representative of our school. Too bad the faculty senate does appreciate what sports can do for the image of the school.

That is a great story. T.J. is a great person, and you’re right, a great ambassador for Ohio University.

Whether in football, in coaching, or in some other profession, he can continue to do great things.

He can still play and is healthy, so pretty sure he’ll get signed elsewhere, just at a lower salary.

Culture and character make teams. The Browns have very little of either in their franchise, less after today.

He just did another event at the Cleveland Clinic on Valentine's Day.

Such a class act. Such a professional. But it's a business and he was due to make over $7 mill this year. Wish they could have restructured his contract instead of an outright release but they clearly decided to just move on.

It's basically the nature of the NFL with non-guaranteed contracts. Any player who is going to make more than the market value gets released.

He has also mostly been a back-up, 14 Starts in 32 games for the Browns, and only 6 starts in 16 this year. $7Mill is a chunk of change for a non-starter. Hopefully he resigns elsewhere, however I seriously doubt it will be at that salary level based on his 2019 numbers. He only returned two kicks and gave up a completion % of 68.3% which means that he gave up a higher % than the NFL QB's completion percentage average.

TJ Carrie signed a veterans minimum deal with the Colts. https://www.stampedeblue.com/2020/3/30/21200213/report-co...
Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

After stepping in at the last minute Sunday vs Minn, he might start against Tarell Bashem and the Jets this Sunday. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2020/09/2... /

He looked great, he had another great play when Balladge tried to hurdle him.

Watching the replay of last night's Colts-Titans game and just saw TJ pick up a blocked punt and run it in for a TD to put the Colts up 27-17 in the 3rd quarter.
