Heard a strange rumor that there is about to be a "major overhall" of the athletic department, including personel changes. This was supposedly not entirely of the making of the new AD. This rumor may be total BS, but I thought I'd post it here, so that our BA "insiders" can confirm or deny. I'm wondering, though, if this might somehow fit into the other rumor started on BA by one of these insiders that there was some major gift in offing. Is the gift, perhaps, contingent on some other changes in athletics at OHIO?

Major changes? Yeah, sounds like you stood in the rain waiting on a shuttle bus too long. We don’t have a big enough staff or budget for these major changes. I’d start with one person, but that is 25% of our Senior staff. So what do you hear?

There's two universal truths in this board.

1) Billy needlessly acts like an as*hole.
2) He's often wrong about the things he's an as*hole about, because he's simply not very smart.

Looking forward to learning about these big changes Billy is sure aren't happening.

OCF will tell you this was not the staff changes that were on his Bingo card. But ok. Amd not sure in what world we label 1 move a “major overhaul”.

If your attempt at sarcasm was to state that this 'Looks like OCF was correct on his major blowup', meaning that this was FAR from a major blowup (which would be the only way to be sarcastic with that comment), that falls flat. When the highest (or second-highest) paid member of the athletic department is put on immediate and undisclosed leave, that's what I personally would consider a 'major blowup', or in OCF's actual words, a 'major overhaul'.

So, you'll have to forgive those of us who don't immediately recognize the sarcasm in a comment that actually fits how many of us are actually feeling, that this is a 'major overhaul' within the athletic department. Whether this is what OCF was originally referring to or not, his post feels quite prescient based on what has transpired this week.
