We’re only nine days into the season, and 3 of our top 6 players are now injured. How does this keep happening?

I know there was some discussion with Saul’s teams about this being a potential strength/conditioning issue, and at this point it seems the same question could be asked of Boals. Are we just “unlucky”, or could the injuries the past few years point to a more systematic problem?

Plucky try-hards who are neither big enough, nor fast enough, tend to get injured more often because they over extend and put their bodies in positions they can't withstand.

Or we need to sacrifice a live chicken.

Your choice.

As fans we always want to find a reason somebody gets hurt and figure out how to prevent them in the future. Unfortunately, they are going to happen regardless of preparation. It always gets brought up but the S&C program is not why guys get hurt. If anything, it helps prevent an even worse injury and helps with recovery time.

Any idea how long these guys are out for?

Breath, Elliot, and Connors are the 3 guys you apply this to? You might pull something too with that stretch.

Wondering the same thing. But no media covers the program. We probably won't know if anyone will play against Louisville until pre-game warmups.

Who of the injured dudes actually fits this description? Breath has plenty of size for a D1 big man. Elliot is a big guard. Conners also has good size and athleticism.

Not seeing the connection.
