Nice article about one of my favorite Bobcat players of all time. There's just something about the way he played, his defensive skills, the way he carried himself on the court, his sportsmanship, and the intense-but-friendly look on his face as he played that endeared him to me.

I met Doug at John Glenn Airport in Cbus when the team was preparing to depart for Jamaica last fall. Seemed like a very nice young man.

As I have stated elsewhere, I thought the injury that cost Doug virtually his entire senior year at Northland H.S. really hurt his development. Only now, in the last 2-4 weeks of the season, have we seen the player that I'd hoped we see by the time he was a junior.

If he chooses, I think Doug could be a very successful player overseas.

Yet to read the article. he is a legitimately good "Cat" it was a pleasure watching him grow as a man and student-athlete. his life has only just begun
