I have a rare weekend free of work obligations and have never been to Central Michigan so I think I'm going to go. The Bobcat are due for a good shooting game or at least I'll hopeful they are.

Good for you, hope you do go and support our Cats. Your simple note gives me hope. It's depressing to read BA these days, the throwing-in-the-towel not just for basketball but the university in general (I understand the BB frustration but turning on the university makes me realize there are BAers who simply do not get it, sad that they spent time here but missed out on truly understanding the special uniqueness of the City and OU experience) is hard to take.

Jason Preston is my PG and if BVP was smart, he’d transfer out. That’s all I have to say

Bob may literally die a Bobcat on the convo floor during a game.

Why is BVP not starting?

Maybe Doug Tayor or Gavin Block should be the 6th man.

Nice to see BVP have a good game and I think he's going to be a good player over his career, but some of you have really short memories. He's struggled quite a bit after a hot start. His resurgence offensively is a good sign.

in a Vacuum, CMU is a house of horrors and we often lose there even when we're better and this wouldn't be considered a bad loss. We just don't have any wins to surround this with.

I'm not sure what you are implying. That BVP is too good for us and should transfer to a better program where his talents could better be utilized, or that he's not D1 material and should transfer to Rio Grande? I thought today he looked much better and seemed to playing more like he did in some of the earlier non-conference games. He came off the bench to lead all scorers. So, now that he seems to be getting into the grove and had a very good outing, you want him to transfer? Perhaps, going through the adversity of this season with his teammates will make him a much better player for a much improved OHIO team next year. The grass isn't always greener somewhere else, and shared adversity in one season can make a team much better the next year. I'm not one of those who thinks if we get a new coach next year that half of the current team will transfer. I'm sure there will be some attrition, but I would expect that that would come mainly from the ranks of scrubs who have very little playing time this year.

I agree that he will grow with this team after this season and don’t get me wrong, I don’t want him to transfer out because I love how he plays. But he had a great stretch and then went through a slump but he seems to have picked it up again. It’s hard to come off the bench and put up the same amount of points that the other 3 starting forwards put up. I think he should at least start over Block. He’s never really gotten out of that slump he’s had. But right now BVP seems to be a hidden gem that could leave for a smaller school and end up with a bigger program later in his college career
