Done sulking over the men's basketball team going to 11-13 yet? Good! How about some love for the 21-3 women's team? Thank you.

Can we get a column for them? I’ve been keeping up with them a lot more than the mens team

Agree with Dr Jack. I watch or listen to most games. I hope to see them when they come to Kent next weekend.

Was at the game. After a sluggish start in the first QT, the OHIO gals pulled away and the game never seemed much in doubt after about halfway through the 2nd Qt. The bounced back well after the heart-wrenching loss to Toledo earlier in the week.

I was also at the game. OCF summarized it well.

A standout for the Ohio women from 1993-97 was Natalie Britt - now Natalie Britt Lantz. At Ohio, she averaged 4.6 ppg as a frosh, 9.6 as a soph when Ohio won a MAC title, 14.5 as a junior and 15.6 as a senior. In her junior season she connected on 40% of 3-pt shots and 38% for her career.

She now is head ladies coach at her Shelby High School alma mater, and her team just finished its regular season 20-2.

Another from that era, Marlene Stollings, is the coach at Texas Tech.

I never realized she played for Ohio! She's a very good coach. I always enjoy watching her teams play against Upper.

I really enjoy following the Ladies team...but every time they do well we always have someone show up that tries to guilt us for our interest level between Men & Women. It's annoying.

Since it looks like you're new to the board - welcome! I'd offer the same thought as was shared to GMan along these same lines: Want to talk about the Women's wins? Post a summary yourself for the rest of us to read and comment on. Share the links from The Post, or OhioBobcats.com, or wherever else you find them. It's not just the responsibility of Ted or the Moderators to share this sort of stuff.
