Going into the half with a chance to take the lead is a pretty good place to be considering it doesn't feel like we've played all that well.

Really solid first half, we�re looking more comfortable. Attack Dickinson in the second half and put him on the bench.

We played well� Michigan missing shots�we easily should�ve had an eight point lead at the half and we go into the half trailing. And I hate to harp on this but I don�t know how Boals can continue to send the Wiz out there�cost us 7 points. He is so lost. And Hunter has to stay on the floor entire second half. And why is Elmore not getting a run?

AJ Clayton another no-show in the first half.

Solid first half from brown, hunter and baker. Those 3 have 26 pts, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 7 assists. Rest of team has 5, 4, 1 and 0.

Need more Clayton. Need more Roderick. Miles and Jaylin are more than comfortable out there. Dwight is doing his best but is just too outsized to dump him the ball and go one on one banging. He's not Leon Williams or Tony Campbell. He's at his best when he cab get to his sweet spot without the ball.

Haven't we learned anything from the Illinois game? When the opponent needs to go the length of the floor at the end of a half, ZONE PRESS! Make them pass the ball from the backcourt. Don't let them dribble.

An ugly last minute. Didn't get a shot off on the first possession, rushed a three when we should have held for last shot, then a dumb foul by Baker. No situational awareness there.

Oddly, when Liberty beat our women's team on a buzzer beater last year they bounced the inbound off the rim. Boldon claimed it was illegal. None of us knew if he was right.

The shot selection and decision making down the stretch was beyond frustrating. Great effort and there�s obvious improvement; but this was an annoying one to lose.

A winnable game. I like our chances in the MAC. Their offensive rebounds hurt us on a few possessions. I was impressed by our team.

Can someone explain to me why AJ Clayton was in the game at the end of overtime and even in a position to take that shot? When he was 1-10 from the field and god awful the entire game on defense as well? I put this one on Boals. Not able to get a shot off with under a minute to go coming out of a time out? And then letting the clock tick down with 22 seconds left down three and not attacking for a quick two?

Head scratchers.

Big improvement from Detroit. Big Ten officials gifted the 2 pt lead, but can�t stop the Hail Mary! Nice effort, but you can�t do much when shooting 1 of 10 in OT. I like the improvement. Let�s dust off and move on! Go Cats!
