So? They offered him a prime time Twitch stream.

No, while they do offer online courses, like most colleges today, they have a beautiful main campus and a total of three different campuses. Total enrollment is about 10,000, with about 500 divinity students. I believe their endowment is over $200 million.

It pays to do good in school. That way when you look for another school, nothing is off the table. The world will be your oyster... expensive private schools, gigantic state school, anything you want...

Harvard grad transfer Chris Ledlum has heard from the following schools since entering the portal, per @Andrew__Slater:

Kentucky
UCLA
Ohio State
Nebraska
Indiana
Maryland
Florida
LSU
Arkansas
Oklahoma
Georgia
Xavier
SMU
Marist
Vanderbilt
Butler

Averaged 18.8 PTS - so you have to hoop it up too.

I do wish Boals would look more internationally with the portal and I'm not talking Canada. Look at what Pat Kelsey has done at College of Charleston. 7 newcomers and I believe 5-6 of them are from outside the United States. Two of his best players are from Croatia and Australia.

This will be Kelsey's 3rd NCAA Tournament appearance in 7 years. Would be 4 if not for the 2020 Tournament being cancelled, and he also won a regular season title at Winthrop in another year. He's 48-18 at Charleston (.727) and 234-113 (.674) overall in his career.

If Coach Boals were to ever move on from Ohio, Kelsey better be at the top of the list to be his successor if he's still available.

Ummm...Pat Kelsey can do a hell of a lot better than Ohio with next job. He's P5 material now and if I'm Ohio State, Kelsey is my first call. Strong Ohio ties who can recruit the hell out of the state.

You're talking about the same guy who turned down UMass to stay at Winthrop then laterally (or even a step down) went to Charleston. Anything is possible.

Pat Kelsey just got a raise two weeks ago from 550 K to 1.2 million. He wouldn’t consider Ohio in a million years.

Just my two cents, but why are we talking about a potential new coach for us when Boals has one more year? I understand the speculation if he and the university decide not renew his five year deal but I'm personally not worrying about it until I hear something reputable.

This upcoming offseason though will be critical for him as it's a contract year. But, hoping we can go into Cleveland tomorrow and rip off some wins.

I don’t believe anyone is expecting Boals to not receive another contract. I think someone was speculating on next coach if Boals took another job. And let’s face it…that’s not happening this year.

Appreciate the assist on this. Boals is most likely not going anywhere nor do I want him to. Also, today years old finding out that Charleston can afford to pay Kelsey $1M. Eesh.

No doubt. Gotta hand it to the deep pocket boosters at COC for getting it done. And if Kelsey still leaves for Ohio State or Notre Dame, a good job now became a great job for the next guy in Chucktown.

A proven commodity down low isn’t something we have on our roster for next season. Not saying he’d be my first choice, but he fits the mold.

Top ten in total rebounds and blocks. Wouldn't oppose him coming to Athens. Would be pretty funny if someone from BG decides to transfer here after Towns transferred there.

Shab mentioned him in another thread averaging 11 and 5 for Bill & Mary this season. We need a proven big and I wouldn't mind having a guy like him on the roster, but you gotta wonder what the relationship between he and Boals is like after he ended up not coming here.

I can say with absolutely certainty that Mr Wight will not consider playing for coach Boals. Definitely no love lost there. But, looking back at that thread I am glad Wight has validated me and that ass hat BuckCat wrong and proven he is a legitimate D1 big.

Looking at Ben’s body of work the last two years; have to think this is one Boals wishes he could have back (hindsight is always 20/20). Considering, we’ve missed on so many bigs. Ben looks like someone we could really use next season. Reconciliation would be cool, but yea, reading through that thread I doubt it happens.
