Yeah, you are correct, obviously. We still ended up with byes in the conference schedule but, since this is apparently now intentional, we might have known what they were before the full conference schedule was determined. It is still after many conference have started conference play.

Yeah, like fall 1969 when Purdue came to Athens with guard "Rick Mount" !!

Toledo released its non-conference. Only one game for month of December against Oakland on the 16th. The rest of the slate is squeezed into November sans 2nd SBC game. No non-D1 opponents, so well done on its part.

Last year, I was expecting a strong team at least partially based on the strength of schedule. This year, perhaps a less challenging schedule to allow the team to adjust to all the new parts. Now? We're looking at only 3 teams listed on the schedule via D1 Docket. Time to pull the rabbit outta the hat!

Might be worth gambling money wise.

Perhaps a power conference team needs to fill a spot late and pays a nice kitty to bring the Bobcats into their town? A full schedule early and that is not possible.
