The Bobcats have an ATS record of 12-0 when playing as at least 2.5-point underdogs this season."

It is very surprising that they have been favored by 2.5 points or more 13 times already in one game, while the Bobcats are 12-0 against the spread in one game. Could they mean 12-0 over, say, the last three seasons?

In this particular case, I suspect a little hometown bias is at work since none of us up here are buying this newspaper.

Well, once you get outside of Huntsville, the rest of state is still Alabama.

We need to force many turnovers to help us control this game.

For sure. Even a one or two turnover advantage will go a long way.

Watched some highlights from the South Alabama game last week: the QB is a real gamer. He gets a bit reckless with the ball passing which may lead to your turnovers. He is also a fly in the ointment dual threat guy who is so annoying picking up first downs by scrambling.

Any takers on what folks are looking for out of Ohio this week? I thought all things considered last week they looked fairly good at times in all phases. This week we should learn more about them.

One thing I'm looking for is who returns from injury. The defense looks like it might be pretty good but they lost two linebackers last week, both on this week's depth chart, and the fourth guy last week was freshman Stellan Bowman. He looked pretty solid even though is a young guy probably not expecting to play much on defense.

Also, the d-line looked pretty good for depth last week with some good front-line starters, particularly at DE.

Can we throw? Can we (likely) make a comeback? Can we control the clock AND score? Can the defense keep them under 400 yards passing?

'Can we throw? Can we (likely) make a comeback? Can we control the clock AND score? Can the defense keep them under 400 yards passing?' [/QUOTE]

Important questions.

Navarro is what he is which is not a really big arm. If they can run like last week, that will make some easy throws. Every now and then when the get the right look they will play action off an option and chuck it deep but not often. South Alabama was susceptible more than once last week to double moves.

Yeah, red zone was a bust last week. Not only did they not score TDs but they looked generally bad. Albin pointed to dome noise and, to his credit, fell on the sword for not having his team ready in that respect. We'll see at home this week.

North Texas could not hold South Alabama under 400 yards passing and there is little doubt with the QB they will move the ball. I think red zone d will be the key.

Is anyone else having a mountain of issues with the stream ? I have ATT Fiber. A full signal and it looks like the game was filmed through dirty glass with a 1994 Nokia. And that’s if there is a game being shown at all.

I did briefly see RHJ break off for a hell of a run. Also looks like there is a damn good crowd there. Hill is full. Always love seeing that.

Hope the crowd sticks around after 110 plays and with o$u kicking off soon.

This team can't seem to pass the ball. I wonder if that even concerns Albin.

Tyus being down was scary.
Also, if Albin plays the "hot hand" at RB why has he not tried Poulos? Navarro has proven he is a good dude who is a leader. But he can't seem to make plays with his feet yet and his passing is suspect.

Extremely fortunate to be tied at the half.

Extremely fortunate to be up 7 at the half is what I meant to say.

Crowd sounds like a madhouse on ESPN+. Weather nice. The Hendricks TD was a jolt. Hopefully not too many bolt for OSU.

They opened up the offense on the last drive and it paid off. It looked like they were attacking instead of trying not to lose. Navarro can pass enough to be a threat. They need to take the opportunities to spread the defense.

Parker running at the first sign of pressure is gonna bite us.

Still not sure why we’ve entirely abandoned the run again.

That was one of the worst personal foul calls I've ever seen.
