Comparing portal numbers to Iowa State seems silly since many of the players are looking to get a chance at PSU. The same with other schools who lost coaches. What is typical for a MAC (or even CUSA or SBC) school and how do the Cats compare. The team will lost good players every year, is there a good comparison to similar schools? As an interesting side note, Gianni Spetic is going to Texas. There are indeed winners and losers in the portal. A few years ago, we lost three promising receivers. One did well at IU, another kept the same path basically at UCF and ended up in a NFL camp, and another ended up in Ypsilanti and DNP. What am I missing here? From OU to Fordham or Towson? Unless he hopes he plays more there and then turns that into another bigger D-1 move in his senior year? I have no clue what these guys are thinking anymore. I would have thought Aidan would be counted on along the line next year.
