I guess we all knew this was coming. I wish him the best. I don't think 7 years of college football is warranted in any scenario, but can we even call it college football anymore?

Personally, I don't think he has the throwing ability to really thrive against a P5 schedule, but he might surprise me. #MACChamps Go get 'em Parker.

I assume he has at least one degree from Ohio already. No hard feelings and thank you, Parker. I assumed he was gone anyway due to eligibility so I'm cool with moving on to the next quarterback.

Colgate OL Nick Dalessandro posted that he is looking forward to his visit at Ohio State next weekend

Mansell showed a pic of him in his socks in the University Inn so he’s here.

Dalessandro mentioned an Ohio
State visit but no other mention of the Buckeyes either thru an offer or contacts on his site. Don’t think he’s confused but who knows….it’s happened before….not so weird when you see how OSU present themselves….they’re always Ohio not State.

Years ago on vacation wearing my Ohio gear I’d get one or two Go Buckeyes….which I had to correct….but on the last two cruises wearing my OU gear in the elevator I got a Go Bobcats.

He's from Chagrin Falls and went to St. Eds. I think he knows the difference lol.

the OSU mention may just be a sales tactic. Presents himself as being of interest.

This from me as well. Throwing arm may not be up to a Tennessee requirement.

That said, Parker Navarro is legend to me. Did you know we beat the F*&% out FIami for a MAC Football title? Kidding. I know you all do. That young man had the silver spoon Fiami players yelling at each other by the 4th quarter. Wasn't sure I would ever see such a historic win in my lifetime. THANK YOU, Parker!

If you leave, I will actually wish you well and mean it. The other non-sense where we turn 2 stars into 3 stars or 3 stars into 4 stars only to be cherry picked from our roster, F that. I do not feel the same about players in that category. I know. I know. I can't blame them. Got it (but really don't).

My experience as well, Doc. I have ball cap that has nothing more than the arched OHIO on it. I very seldom these days when I'm out of state find someone who gives me a "Go Buckeyes." Almost everyone says, "Go Bobcats." It's taken a long time, but the branding is sticking. The irony is that that is less true in some parts of the State of Ohio than it is in the rest of the nation.

OCF, regarding your last point, Columbus (TV stations) are definitely guilty of this. And some (All?) of them cannot list our scores without attaching a “U” to Ohio. I know of one station who has several Ohio grads who have key broadcast roles but you’d never know it from their drooling over the Buckeyes, comments, and the wearing of their Buckeyes apparel at times when I think ours would definitely be appropriate.

Lastly, when I have Ohio clothing on and someone says “OH” I simply reply “IO Bobcats!”. I do get some peculiar looks. :)

I do agree it is getting better and branding is starting to take hold elsewhere.

Being confused with Oklahoma, Ohio State or Miami (Oh) is a lot better than being confused with community colleges. Thats what happens when you go to Stetson or Davidson when you're out of state.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Fiami @ Peden with 25,086 fans
2023 10-7 near shutout of Iowa State @ Solich Field
2025 17-10 defeat of WVU @ Peden in front of 26,740

I refuse to respond whenever some dumbass decides to yell OH at me. Usually puts their brain in a blender while I lol to myself. I actually think the ego is typically so big, they get offended when somebody won't respond.

Could be nothing but a day before he committed to Ohio (after committing to BG) Eli Thompson followed the BobcatAttack Twitter account. Cassius Hulbert, Tiffin transfer who committed to Penn St. has also followed BobcatAttack.

I believe it's his teammate Tyshon Huff who has committed to PSU.

Thanks Mike. Reading was never my strong suit. At any rate, looks like the search is still on for OL help.

One other example was when OSU was playing some random B1G team later in the season and I was watching the game the announcer said very matter-of-factly, "the last team to do such-and-such against the Buckeyes (don't remember what it was) was Ohio in an early season game." I'll bet some of the Walmart Buckeye fans in Cleveland didn't know what to make of that. That kind of statement to a nationwide audience really helps the branding. Most people beyond the banks of the Ohio, North of Toledo, and West of Greenville know that "Ohio State" isn't "Ohio" these days. That wasn't always true. Thank you Andy Geiger!
