I think it's too early to tell. Who knows what we have with Carpenter, Grand, Davis, etc.

Plus to be fair, Parker was not the best passer, while much improved, there was a lot more to be desired. His stats were nearly identical from the past two seasons.

Don’t you think that they have had a chance to work with the QB’s on the roster now and have a pretty good idea about their throwing ability. Davis is a wild card there, but I’m not sure that the ability of the QB’s has as much to do with their choices as the NIL situation does.

Parker may have been the best overall QB based on experience and the amount of time in the system but I'd imagine / hope there is a better passer on the roster. I could certainly be wrong.

Izzy said some great things about Hype Grand during the season, something about being one of the best athletes and we all know what Levi Davis may bring to the Bobcats. I'm hopeful

Tbh I don't feel like these losses are as bad as last year's losses. A couple hits here and there, but nothing that we can't come back from.

Let's see how we choose to reload and fill the holes, guys.

How many players entered the portal last year and then backed out? I don't remember, but didn't this happen a few times.

Bradley Weaver entered the portal before last year, then ended up staying one more season before heading to Rutgers this year.

Thank you guys for keeping track of this. It's way too much for me to follow the comings and goings of players in the portal, so this is very helpful.

Yeah, I'm just a guy who tries to see things from a glass half-full standpoint. I see this Transfer Portal period as an opportunity for us to get some decent quality players, guys who may be better fits for what we need.

Over 3700 D-1 guys in the portal so far. Lots of players who could help us. Can you imagine the chaos in the coaches offices right now?

Also, with there only being one shorter window this year, I feel like most players that are going to enter the portal will announce their intention to do so prior to the window actually opening in order to maximize their offers

That just tells me we need to look at RB in the portal. Many guys are there, and should find someone decent.

With a lot of offensive guys in the portal, I gotta think they aren't confident in our next play caller

Guys like Dukes frustrate me. We pulled him out of D1 AA at YSU and he used us. Just like Cam Rice. I don't wish ill of him but also cannot wish him well. Brune really will find it harder at another school. I am sure the staff told him he would never be the featured guy. Crable will also be interesting. He did great for us but he is undersized for P5.

I swear I’m not anti-portal. I fully support the guys who are capable of chasing the bag doing so. It makes perfect sense for the Hendricks, Harrises, and Millers of the world to level up. But some of these decisions are just baffling. Crable? Brune? Did they not just see what Sieh’s transfer experience was like?

3700 portal dudes available.

That number alone stops me from jumping off the Richland Avenue bridge.

To be honest Hendricks is the only major hit and we knew that was coming.

I shouldn’t say this but the D looks to be as strong as last year.
