Considering our last 8 months, no news is a good news!

I think this is going to be a really good season.

I don't know about the summer enrollees but I liked what I saw in the spring.

Expectations haven't been this low in some of the publications since 2022 mainly pinned on new coach and QB. The team could very easily overdeliver this season. In the past we'd hear about Bobcat Caravan reports during the summer which adds some hype but it doesn't sound like they do those anymore. I did read that Slade was coming up with a master facility plan for athletics in the Ohio Today magazine.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Fiami @ Peden with 25,086 fans
2023 10-7 near shutout of Iowa State @ Solich Field
2025 17-10 defeat of WVU @ Peden in front of 26,740

Don't need that level of analysis. I'll sum it up succinctly: a collective case of portal burnout blues.

The Bobcats will have a winning season and defend Frank Solich Field like they have done for the last four seasons. Ohio is as good as anyone in the country in winning games at home. WMU and Miami are projected in most magazines to finish in the top two, but the Bobcats are picked top four or five in many publications.

I predict that whoever scores the most points in each game will win.

Unless there's a forfeit.

Slow days continue. Where is Monroe when you need him?

OK then, just to randomly pick something to talk about..... We draw decently for a G5. But as far as getting the fans to pay attention to something like this, wearing a certain color to the game, I feel like even the most dedicated fans, like even the people that post here don't pay attention to things like this at all.

I usually wear the same green T-shirt and hat to every game, and my 25 year old Ohio jacket to November night games if I can get to them. Even I don't pay attention to this. How many of you do? And how important do you think that it is?

I think these color to wear promotions don't affect the game at all except maybe blackouts if game is on tv. I refuse to wear white - I like mustard and ketchup on my dogs & brats......not so much on what I'm wearing when some gets on it especially white.....

I'm still chuckling at that mustard and ketchup comment RSB. Agree!

I don't own a white shirt. Not because I refuse to wear white but when I find a tall size Ohio T-shirt somewhere online I usually buy two or three of them and mostly only wear them to Ohio games to not wear them out because this is about a once in 10 or 15 year find. All of them have been green. I rarely even know what color we are supposed to wear. I guess if I really cared I could wear a white shirt over another shirt.

You two should be sure on white days to take a blanket you slobs--pigs in the blanket types.............

Slow stretch don't you know!

Reminds me of a Tribe home opener in gone and that day frigid Municipal Stadium where 1965 OHIO grad has on a new bright white ski coat. He sees the friend a row in front with a then new concession item, nachos and cheese. The grad grabs a chip and dips it deep into the slowly coagulating cheese and pulls it up the overloaded chip from the row behind barely getting it over the buyers head but not to his mouth before the chip angle caused a great spill of yellowish cheese along the zipper of that white coat. "i said here is a napkin now have another beer." I can still hear him saying his wife's name and how she was going to kill him.

Tell OUr concession stands to serve GREEN catsup, not that Miami stuff to make it look appropriate on spills.
