It is. Browsed his Instagram and I haven't seen someone like him around campus. Hope it's true and he might be plugged in place of McDay but very odd he seems to have not practiced with the team. First, he would lend another ballhandler with a little more size (I think he's 6-3). He also has some athleticism to him. My guess is he will enroll for Winter semester and have 3 years of eligibility starting next year. That wouldn't be too bad either. He would give time to Ajay Sheldon to develop then (although from what I've seen, Sheldon may be ready now). Didn't hear back from him. In the not so long ago old days, a beat writer would have been keeping an eye on team message boards for possible stories and would have looked into this. It's not exactly news that the state of local sports journalism is poor, but I hate experiencing it as a Bobcat fan. I remember seeing Instagram posts of his back in October which looked like he was on campus with his girlfriend. I'm not sure if he was practicing with the team at that point. Also, my prediction was completely wrong - stayed on the bench against BG last night.
